Lower Extremity

From femoral osteotomies for limb lengthening procedures, to radical resections of sarcomas, to patching up the “little monkey jumping on the bed,” lower extremity nerve blocks can add considerable analgesia for otherwise painful procedures. Not surprisingly, lower extremity nerve blocks remain a popular intervention, second only to caudals for overall use.
